On Saturday 17th June 2023 Fr. Adrian Graffy had requested cloudy weather for our parish garden party. The weather had been hot and sunny for days and we would have melted. And so it was!!!
Over 70 people signed up to meet old friends and make new ones. It was a bring and share event, organised by the Catholic Women’s League and assisted by the men of the parish. The parishioners excelled themselves with an amazing array of foods from different parts of the world, including South America, Africa and Asia. Everyone had a good time, including the children, playing hide and seek in the extensive, beautifully tended gardens. It was a good way to get the parish together after the last few years.
