Bexhill Section, Arundel & Brighton Branch are an active group of ladies with a range of interests. So, when it was announced that instead of the standard meeting on 1st August, we were treated to the chance of visiting the life boat station in nearby Eastbourne, we took this on board, pardon the pun, eagerly. On the evening a slightly nervous, or was it excited group of us, gathered at the Marina where the lifeboats are on constant alert for whatever requires their help and attention. We were so inspired and we would encourage anyone to have a peep into the stories behind this amazing organisation. You cannot fail to be impressed and maybe encouraged to help out in some way.
