Westcliff Section 93 shoeboxes sent for the Operation Christmas Child shoebox appeal
End of year meeting December 2019. Bexhill section had a fabulous Christmas party of food sharing and party games. Everyone had a hand in making it a grand affair. 😃😃
This was taken on a Parish Pilgrimage to Assisi in June 2019 and there were 8 members from Kenilworth Section with them. This lovely picture shows, from the left, Julie, Veronique, Sandra, Rosemary, Lyn, Pat, Madeleine and Maureen.
CWL Members in England and Wales
Members of Brentwood Branch gathered at the parish of our Branch Chaplain Fr Eamonn Power. The parish is dedicated to Our Lady of Canvey and was founded in 1938. The church is built in the Dutch style – Canvey being reclaimed land has strong Dutch connections.
The weather was awful but members enjoyed a good day together and a chance to meet our Branch Chaplain on his home territory.
The Church had a beautiful display of mosaics of Saints with Essex connections and after joint effort we managed to name them all.
